Hello, hope you are well. I do not understand why. Additionally, when I go to a website I need to access for school, it gives me an error message saying I need to “upgrade” Flash player. When I go to the Adobe site to check for upgrades, it just tells me that Flash player is already integrated with Windows 10 and that I am up to date.

Can someone please help me figure out what I need to do to get Flash player to work? I really need to access my school work. I am not sure why the website is telling me to upgrade when I can not upgrade. I am not sure why Adobe is telling me my flash player in disabled, when it is enabled. Furthermore, there is that icon on the troubleshooting page with clouds moving.

I can see the clouds moving on the image which means that Flash is working, but then when I click the “Test Flash Player” it says Flash is disabled. How can Flash be disabled if I am seeing the icon images moving on the Adobe page? I have attached for references of the error messages and of the things I referenced in this post. You can also see in the final image that I have Flash player turned ON in my browser settings.

And this will solve the problem with Edge? If I am reading this correctly, I have to switch to explorer when ever I come across the message about Flash Player not being installed.

What is curious is that neither Microsoft nor Adobe seem to realise. They both just keep advising to turn it on in settings or to deactivate Active X, which, curiously, does not seem to be an option in Microsoft Edge.

Have they not even tried it out and realised that what they say has no effect? It looks like if you want to use Flash you must use another browser. But it does work for some or most people. I think we just haven’t pinned down why it fails for a few. Just so you know what I had to do as of today 9 days later.. They say and because I haven’t a clue of its validity the flash is imbedded in ie, anything above 8, and chrome which explains why I repeatedly was told going to the adobe site that my flash was up to date..

I tried it.. I mean I’ve had no video all this time trying everything every one said which didn’t work and if it did it stayed until I rebooted the pc I’m not a tech.. I’m just a regular person who turns on the pc to watch Netflix, look at Facebook and pay bills.. I don’t know what the settings are suppose to be or about proxys or amd catalyst controls..
